Rather than do your homework for you.... here is a hint:
Area of a round pizza (a circle) = Pi X Radius^2
You know what Pi is. The radius is HALF the diameter
Go for it!

Area of pizza [ circle] = pi r^
diameter = 12, so radius = 6
pi = 3.14. etc,
3.14 x 6^
3.14 x 36 = 113.04 TA DAAH!
[ There is no area of pizza at my house - I have boys and it disappears before i measure it. ]
