Rather than do your homework for you.... here is a hint:

Area of a round pizza (a circle) = Pi X Radius^2

You know what Pi is. The radius is HALF the diameter

Go for it!

Area of pizza [ circle] = pi r^
diameter = 12, so radius = 6
pi = 3.14. etc,
3.14 x 6^
3.14 x 36 = 113.04 TA DAAH!

the area of a circle is pi times the radius squared, so the radius is half of 12 which is 6. pi times 6 squared is about 113.10 in. squared

the way u find area of a circle is pie(3.14) multiplied by the radius..in this case the diameter is 12..the radius must be 6 then...so..3.14 multiply 6 is about 19 ur answer 19

well if you mean surface area of the pizze it would be 3.14 x 6squared
