Thanks for the compliments. To the people who thought I really couldn't spell, read it again and this time THINK about it. It is a poem intentionally misspelled to make a point.
To the girl who translated it into correct spelling..Thank you great job. Sed was actually said, and Time was supposed to be T9 which is the word tool in cell phones.Other than that, great job!

I understand it is just your opinion on misspelling but anyway...

Weight isn't how much you weigh
Right isn't a direction
Fate isn't your destiny
Even when sad with inflection (inflection?)
Later isn't after now
and thanks doesn't have an X
Spelling shouldn't be this hard
Especially in a text
Shorty isn't how it's spelt
Just the way it's said
can't remember anyhow
spelling must be dead
wear is about what you have on
not about where you are going
careful now on what you say
lest ignorance be showing
spelling is an artform
that must have been taught in school
nowadays you've got time
without it you sound like a fool

--------how did I do? English is not my first language-------

Not bad, huh? hehehe.

I sympathise with your sentiments. Personally I value language and correct spelling is part of that. But, does it really matter at the end of the day if communication is achieved? I was able to read every word you wrote in your verse.

**It does seem to me that spelling is not as important to many people as it is to some.

I'm old school--I know that language is subjective, but language should evolve, not de-evolve. Don't give up on spelling or punctuation. Historians of the future are going to think we were all a bunch of morons.

And this means...? I can figure out what you mean by some of it, but I've read some of it out loud a number of times, and since I probably don't pronounce everything the way you do, I have no idea what you are talking about. That's why there are proper spellings for things; so that we can have a shared reference.
