For example, do they look at you differently if you were secretary of a club instead of president of a club? Or do they just see president, vice president, secretary, treasurer as equal leadership positions? I always thought that even though they have different titles, it still goes back to being a leadership position, it's just that having a specific title gets a specific job done. In clubs and student councils that I'm in, the president of the club/council isn't always the leader. Sometimes, our treasurer or secretary will do more work in terms of being in that influential leadership role and delegating tasks. I've been the secretary three times for a clubs, my class, and soon, the entire school. Will this decrease how UC admission officers view my leadership capability? I really want to go to UCLA or UC Berkeley and I heard they tend to focus a lot on leadership ability.

What is the best major for someone like that?

He will be going to trade school after graduation to learn car mechanics or surveying or something like that.

In the meantime, he has tried computer engineering and now civil engineering, and it's not working out. He is not successful at these majors.

He's gone to college for 3 years now, although I think he has a sophomore standing at present.

Any suggestions on a college, also? The one he is at now is too hard for him. He got a 21 on the ACT in math, and just a composite score of 22 on the ACT total.

I have to do a one-act on a (somewhat significant character, I guess) in American history. I have to go in front of the class and act for three minutes a significant event or act in that person's life. An example our teacher gave us: this one person was a singer so got in front and did like a short little musical for the class. I can't sing at all. Who can I be! What can I do! I submitted my Fafsa successfully but was denied tuition assistance although I am an eligible non-citizen.
Actually, they stated that "I am only eligible to work in the U.S" but couldn't explain why I was denied t.a.! It sounds like b.s to me but..

If I can not receive this type of aid, does anyone know what type I may be eligible for?

In 2004 I defaulted on my student loans and my taxes were garnished in 2005 now I am tring to get back into school and I am told that I can never receive financial aid again since the loans were paid back by garnishing my taxes is there anything I can do? So that I can get back into school.
