its for english 10. we are putting all of our assignments that we have written this year, poems, essays, etc. What i need help with is to come up with a theme. This theme has to show progression throughout the portfolio and it must all show change in you. here are some examples of what kids have done in the past...
jigsaw puzzles...each section had part of a puzzle being done,
"through the sands of time"-pictures of beaches.

I'm a 10th grade passed student and want to know which university in US can be a better choice for me to steer myself in PARTICLE PHYSICS and ASTRONOMY.

Also please take the trouble to let me know what is the criteria to get in. When does the term start.
(I'm from India and as such is void of the basic of studies in the US)

I've considered a choice of the STANFORD UNIVERSITY, I wanna know the details of the same. Is the choice a good one, or something else runs better.

I have to research everything... but i cant find anything. I get a lot of opinions but not good enough. Teacher loss in Kentucky because of the pay? Teachers are todays heroes and they get treated like crap by the government and parents and everyone else. Who ever is trying to disagree with me... you havent spent time with the teachers in the class room. I teach highschool Juniors at an urban highschool in Massachusetts. I have been teaching World Literature for just a couple of years and I've found that with all the technology in the world, that my students don't have an idea about what is going on outside their everyday lives. After discussing this with fellow teachers a question was formed; how can you teach about the ocean when your students have never seen, smelled, heard, tasted, or felt the ocean. We expect students to be able to read and learn about certain texts from around the world, yet how do we put those texts into context. The context is what I'm trying to teach. My students are always asking me about the importance of learning about the world, how do I make what I'm teaching relevent to them? That is the basis of my overarching question.

I want to become a doctor and i've read that medical schools are looking for diversity such as a liberal arts major. but what if i decide later on i dont want to be a doctor anymore. what do i do with the liberal arts major? i've been looking into majoring in architect, would that be a plus for medical school. i want to know what to major in besides sciences to impress medical schools.
