Well . . . seems like my guess might be as good as any.
If this has to do with mapping the parts of a sentence with the grammatical Terms, would mean direct object.

Doctor of Osteopathy. It is similar to getting an MD -- though they bring a slightly different philosophy to it. In the US, DOs can practice medicine (like MDs) -- going through the same sort of board licensing as MDs.
