A lot of people are going to say USC because of football, but that shouldn't be your reason to go spend four years and tens of thousands of dollars on a college you don't really want.

Loyola Mary Mount, as you probably know, is smaller and closely-knit. If you'd prefer and more conservative college environment with emphasis on academics, than it's probably LMU.

However, USC looks like the better choice based on it's campus, academic programs, football team (obviously), and overall experience.

It has more national endowment than LMU, $3.1 mil over $500 mil. so you know the campus is going to be a lot better.

If i had the choice i'd go to USC. (J.D. Booty all the way, undefeated, national championship, heisman. I'm calling it. )

it depends on if you like a big college or a small college. first of all, logically, USC is the no brainer. but your decision should not only be based on the prestige of the college, but how much you will enjoy the college. USC is a very large school and LMU is not. My best friend goes to LMU and I talk to him all the time about it. He said it was great the first semester because no one knew each other but after that he wished he had gone to a bigger school. He says its the same old faces and he himself have become old news. BUT USC is a very preppy school and there are going to be a lot of stuck up white people there. Are you going to fit in? LMU on the other hand is primarily black and also more excepting. So those are things to consider. and honestly, who gives a fck about the football team??

UCLA is the most academically rigorous and has the highest ranking overall. While Davis and Irvine are also well-respected, UCLA has international recognition and is the closest you'll get to an Ivy League education at a public school. But not every school is right for every student. You have to consider what YOUR personal needs and interests are. If you interested in animal welfare, then Davis might be a better choice; if you're a champion surfer, then San Diego would be heaven; if you hate an urban environment, then the small high-density campus of UCLA might overwhelm you.

More people has heard of USC than Loyola (in my opinion) and I think USC is a better school.

This one is a no brainer -- USC. These schools aren't even in the same class. This question is like asking which is better -- a BMW or a mid-sized Chevy.
