If I remember you get the slope by calculating the change in y over the change in x. So take -9-3 and -2-0 and you should have your slope.

Definitions (history documents): --factors are continuously given in the format of (x, y) --slope is: how briskly y grows, whilst x is going up by one unit. shop on with it to the 1st subject: one million. enable's placed the criteria so as of x: (x, y) = (0, -9) (x, y) = (3, 0) whilst x is going UP by 3, y is going UP by 9 (UP = +) consequently slope = +9/+3 = +3 slope = 9 For subject quantity 2, remember that x is going UP from -12 to -9

Take the difference between the second numbers in the pair (the Y values) and divide it by the difference between the first numbers in the pair (the X values). That is the definition of slop and you have the info you need for the math part of it.
So do (-9-3) = -6 divided by (-2-0)=-2
You get (-6/-2) = 3 which is the slope.

delta y/delta x
(3-(-9))/(0-(-2))
12/2=6
y=6x+3
where the slope is 6.
