Instead of getting graded on anything (in school/college) what if you were secured an A just by showing up for a class,
yes you would still be taught information but would getting an automatic A (no matter how well you really would've done on a test/project) effect how much you tried or payed attention in school/college?

Would you want school to be this way?

I need to turn the word PIG into an acronym that presents something positive, inspiring or uplifting. Any ideas?? Give me whatever you got! (p.s. the same way that IBM stands for International Business Machines, but a phrase with a positive, inspiring message or definition that fits the P, then the I, then the G...and can include the word "and" in between, etc)

I'm thinking of going to a to college for Medical Biller/Coding. I was wondering what the starting salary range is, and is it a good job. Is it a field that's in demand. I can't decide between Medical Biller or X-ray Tech. The x-ray tech program is one year longer and tougher, but I hear the pay is better. Any help is appreciated.

I'm in the 4th and last semester of my f-man. yr. in HS. My GPA is 3.6 at the moment on a FOUR point scale. Could I get into a good university. By the way, I've never really been interested in Ivy League schools so I'm not inquiring about them. I'm just asking, would I be able to get into college with a 3.6/4 GPA, NO HONORS/AP CLASSES (Except French 4 Jr. Year and AP Fr. Sr. Yr.), ONLY HIGH COLLEGE PREP CLASSES. I've been worried about this because it seems as if though a bunch (not the majority) of students in the class of 2010 and my high school are in at least one honors class. But because I can no longer move up into honors courses this late in the year OR next year (I know, my high school's screwed up.), I just REALLLLYYYY want to know if I can still get into a good college based on my GPA (not including sayyy.... the 4-6 clubs/teams I'm in).

Colleges like.......

1. Boston Univ.

2. UDEL

3. Ithaca

4. Iona

5. Marist

6. Hofstra

7. TCNJ

And yes, I live on the East Coast (NJ)

I know what the rep for the UOP is on the internet, and you either love it or hate it. I am not thinking of going there to earn a Masters, or anything like that, but i am wondering would it be a good idea to go and knock out some of my more basic classes and then transfer into a "real" college. Is it easy to transfer after recieving my Associates from UOP? Do other colleges frown on this method? Or is it the same as taking correspondent classes at any other college?

I know I have to get a 4-year undergraduate degree which I plan to get a B.S. in Nursing and then go to Med. School for 4 years and then go through residency for 8 more years. But what I need to know is if it's possible to get an undergrad. degree in nursing if it meets the requirements for the med. school and if I need to go to a specific med. school to become a CT surgeon or if they're all basically the same.
Please Help Me,
Thanks!!!!!!!

Recently this happened to my son.The school has said they took it to the faculty and has been written up.So if this happens again there will be punishment. My son is listed under emotionally disturbed at this school and i feel the teacher wanted him to hit her while she had him pinned to the wall she was yelling saying i'd be surprised if i ever see you in this school again. After this happened my son noticed a red mark on his chest and went to the principal.I was not contacted by them.My son told me after school. They are hall cameras that would have got this on tape.I wanted to view it but was told they didn't work.I filed a police report and took it to the majestrate and was told under laws that protect teachers there was nothing he could do,and suggested i get an attorney, problem is no-one wants to take on the school. It's been a month now and i don't know what to do after contacting several lawyers except let it go.

I know that a NY pharmacy school would ideally prepare you for the NYS licensing exam as well as the national exam while a NJ pharmacy school would prepare you for their own state exam. I really want to go to Rutgers in NJ, but I live in NY and I don't want to go to St. John's University in Queens. However, I don't want to put myself at a disadvantage by not being ready to take a NYS licensing exam if I go to a NJ school. In addition I'll most likely practice pharmacy in NY once I get out of school so yea. Anyways how do people prepare for licensing exams from other states? ok that's enough out of me. Thanks for all the advice!

People, the word is "DEFINITELY!" Am I the only one who knows how to spell that word? Also, I just saw the word "always" with two Ls. Folks, let's, at least, appear to be intelligent and articulate.
