Is there a term for this kind of word? Like, pair of pantS, not just pant, or pair of pant? I can't really think of any other examples of this right now, but I'm curious as whether there's a term for this!

Most opening pages in a dictionary say that "copyrighted portions" can not be reproduced, transmitted, etc. Do definitions fall under the "copyrighted portions" of a dictionary?

I dont know why but ive been getting bad grades since i started high school. Right now im a 11th grader and i just got my grades and they SUCK....i am helpless i cant think straight....i use to get like 3 or 4 A's 2 b's and like on C NEVER D's or F's...now i DONT get A's i get an occasional b mostly c's and one or two F's ive let everyone down, especially my parents and i dont know how to help myself i just dont care about my grades anymore back in junior high id be like THE guy that has almost perfect grades and people would ask me for help all the time and grades were my life then...now i dont even give a **** about them....

I got a card from a University saying this... what does it mean?
Hi guys I really need your help... I got a letter today from NYU Stern School of Business inviting me and my family to University Day Reception. It says we are invited to visit in mid April and it says its for students admitted to class of 2011. However, I have no indication if I have been accepted or not. Can anyone clarify or does anyone know if this means I was accepted... if I can find out somewhere... or is it just incase I get accepted that I can go? Thanks so much I'm quite nervous!

Okay, at a store where they sell farm animals there is a HUGE sale on Chickens, Pigs, and Cows. Chickens cost 5 cents each, Pigs cost $1 each, and Cows cost $5 each. How do you get 100 total animals for $100 exactly? You also have to have at least 1 Chicken, 1 Pig, and 1 Cow.

I am Chinese.My father is a typical rural people. So to get higher education is the best way out of this predicament. Five years ago I entered a Normal University. And last year I got a bachelor degree .
