Is there a number on the card? If not, call the business school and ask them about the card you received and while your at it, ask if you have been accepted, and why you have received this card. Only this school is going to be able to give you the answer you need.

Go anyway. I believe they would only send you that if you were accepted. I have a similar situation here: I received a letter from the college I applied to that said "Welcome to Athens State University Office of Financial Services. We have some important information news about your financial aid account..." I didn't know if I was accepted or not. Never got an acceptance letter....lol. A week later I received a letter notifying me that I qualify for an academic scholarship. I guess that means I am accepted...lol
universities need to organize themselves a little better
congrats on getting in!

It doesn't sound like an official letter of acceptance; however, it sounds very reassuring that you did get accepted. It appears to be an invitation to what sounds like an orientation day for prospective students. Why don't you call the admissions office and clarify this piece of mystery? They should be able to tell you if you are accepted. They always say don't count your chicken before it is hatched (I think that's how the cliche goes). In other words, don't be too sure until you get the facts verified. Good luck!

If you are a high school freshman, it sounds like the college wants to make sure that you take the appropriate academic classwork so that when you graduate (May 2011) you can be considered for admission to their University (Aug 2011).
And they're smartly inviting your parents to support you in staying on the right academic track.

No those are bulk cards. They would send them to you if you gave them your address for some reason or something like that. GET IN though. Thats a great school.

i would call the school and have them confirm that you are accapted, chances are that your accaptance letter was lost in the mail or not sent out in enough time to get to you before the postcard did. I don't think you would have revieved it unless you were accapted though so congrats!!! and good luck :-)
