My topic is Compare/Contrast the characters of Brutus and Cassius. I need one more point for my outline. I already have how they died and why they killed Julius Caesar. Can someone please give me on more point to talk about in my essay. ty

how about their actual personalities? for example, Brutus is honest and only wishes to do what's best for the people, yet Cassius is sly and thinks only of himself. Pull out two character traits and contrast them. let's say-Brutus-integrity- versus Cassius- self motivation. hope this helped. good luck!

Why did they kill Julius Caesar? Your other point is there. There's the reason they said they did, and then there's the reason they really had for killing him. Caesar replaced the republican institution of Rome with a cult of personality, but the problem is a cult of personality often produces more than one, e.g. people like Brutus, and Caesar got burned by it.

CONTRAST:
Cassius was an antagonist of Caesar; Brutis was a friend of Caesar -- How could a friend and an "enemy" work together to the same goal.
( Cassius was a leader in the conspiracy - Brutis joined, under pressure ).
