devote your time to studying after you finished your homework. If you play too much games(ones that aren't education), cut it down because it won't really help.

First, school sucks because it isn't interactive enough. So maybe you've discovered this. You have to get through it so try to be interested enough to get b's. We all have to do things we don't like to get to the things we do like, that's just life.
Don't beat yourself up over it. College is better. In the mean time work on self discipline. Martial Arts will help. You have to do what you have to do in order to survive. School is a "have to do it" thing.
For the next 2 weeks force yourself to study and do all of your homework so it becomes a habit again. Once you're back in the groove it won't be so hard.
Also, hormones maybe a factor. You need to sleep ALOT because you're a teen. That will take self-discipline too. You can do it. It won't last forever and decent grades will really open doors.

Ah, first of all ... You DO care about your grades! Otherwise you would not have wasted the points to seek answers from your peers! Know that not everyone in here is qualified to answer your question.
I also believe that you DO know why your grades have slumped. Be honest with yourself! Are you bored! Is there someone / something in your life that has changed recently? Confused about your future? - There are any number of possibilities, but only you can solve this. Look inward!
Not a shrink here but I do understand! Oh, and things will get better, if you allow it!

It sounds like you hate having bad grades but don't care anymore. I used to feel like that too but not anymore. In high school the teachers expect more of you and it has to do a lot with friends too. But you just have to know when to pay attention and do your work. There's always time to chat and have fun with your friends, like lunch. But most importantly you want to work hard. It's easier to keep your grades the way they are but it's much harder to get them back up. Something that helped me a lot was trying to make school work fun. You have to do your work anyway so why not have fun doing your work. Doing homework with a friend always works. Well, good luck! :)

Nothing's wrong with you... although spell check never hurts :) Dude, when I was in school, I totally sucked at math. Thank God for calculators, cause I still suck at math. This is just one step in life... don't let it get ya down, keep your head up. I would say study more, but I studied my *** off and still almost didn't graduate high school lol. I am so glad there's such a thing as technical college.

wow! ummm i think your education level that you consume must be instilled in the home first. my mom always told me when she dropped me off at school to learn something today, even tho i might not have wanted to. i would suggest you to find a center or institution where people who havent got a diploma will be and take it some advice from them because if you dont start focusing on your work and making it a number one priority..you will be like them. you only have one more year to go, if its just school in general that bother you..be smart..get focused.

If you want to help yourself, you need to get a better attitude about yourself. You can do anything that you can put your mind to. So, whether you believe you can or cannot, you are right. Perhaps you should look into getting a tutor to help you with your school work if you are serious about trying to do better.
