I was told at one time for all that I have learned in life, I can take a LIFE test to get a degree. The teacher that I had worked with as a teacher's aide for 3 years had told me about this, but she has moved away. Has anyone followed through on this kind of test? Is their any website that I can go to to find out what it would take? Thank-you

Way back when I was a freshmen in college, I was knee-deep in condoms because all of the organizations and faculty constantly barraged everyone with free ones during orientation. I didn't really use of them, the whole idea seemed pretty indecent to me. It was as though the school has to make is absolutely impossible for any freshmen to get through their first year in college without getting a whole bag of free condoms and lubes, and getting laid. I never fully understood this -- Why would a state university devote so much money and efforts toward the promotion and contribution of sexual promiscuity? Why don't they stop this? I found this not only offensive, but also repulsive. It is just like they are saying, "This is college, and you're free to do whatever you want, so go get laid now -- because we won't accept you if you don't." I don't understand -- don't they realize that they are actually reversing firm moral grounding that some parents worked for years to build in their kids

My son will be entering Kindergarten in fall 08 and I plan on homeschooling him and his two little sister until 6th grade at least. I need help getting started. I don't know where to start and what needs to be done. I looked in to online academy, but I won't be able to pay for it(they want close to 3K a year). My son is too energtic to spend all day in class, and too bright for his age. I really need to get this started with in the next few months so any help is apprecaited.

A plane flies to three cities which, when connected, form a right triangle. The total flight distance (from city A to city B to city C adn back to city A) is 1400 miles. It is 600 miles between the two cities that are farthest apart. Find the other two distances between cities. It has a picture showing city C as the 90 degree angle and has city B to city A as the hypotenuse. You should probably use Pathagorean Theorem.

When using the word "historical" as an adjective to describe, say, an event, would one say "an historical event" or "a historical event"? A total grammar nazi, this has been bugging me for a while. And if it is "a", is it a long a or short a?

Color me nerdy.
