and how do you determine that a two triangles are CPCTC, for instance if triangles are congruent by SAS doesn't that just already imply all angles and sides are corresponding and congruent?

Im not sure about CPCTC...but I remeber the others....

It's "side-side-side" "side-angle-side", and "angle-angle-angle" It's a way of determineing a triagle. It's hard to describe in words, so, check out the hand outs your teacher gave you. I'm sure it gives examples.

You can tell that the triangle is SAS when you know one side and one angle is between it and the other side on the other side of the angle. IT HAS TO BE IN THE ORDER, and it does not mean that all sides and angles are congurent. If you can tell that a triangle is determined to be congurent to another triangle by corresponding parts of a congurent triangle are congurent that means that all that angles and sides are congurent. Which might take some time to find out if they all are but you usually can tell. For SSS you would have to know 3 sides of the triangle and AAA you would have to know all angles.

CPCTC means corresponding parts of congruent triangles are congruent.

SSS is side side side
and AAA is angle angle angle

And SAS is a side and a side but in the middle there is an angle
