I went to Pratt Institute but I know some people that went to Savannah and they don't have a campus per say. They have buildings all over the city and unless you drive I hear it is a pain to get around. They are nice buildings (many of them historic) and the school picks these buildings to help revive the city. As for the program I've heard good things about it but as a previous poster said make sure you know it is art or design you want to do because the classes you take have little or nothing to do with any other field you may want to transfer into and the credits you took may end up being worthless if you switch schools. That might even apply if you switch majors. I know people who went to my school and they switched their major and it added another semester or year of school for them because the classes they had taken had nothing to do with the major they switched into. Go to http://www.scad.edu/admission/index.cfm and there is a menu list with request a catalog as an option. It should give you all the information you need. Also, even if you live far away I would recommend touring the school before you comit to going there. Even if the program is great if you don't vibe with your surroundings you will not be happy...

Correct next to SCAD is 1660 Peachtree, it's the establish of the complicated and the manage. They are relatively steeply-priced nevertheless excellent houses. My fine friend is opening SCAD in August and is dwelling there. That you might walk! If you're going to have a auto or wish rather less steeply-priced, seem within the ancient Fourth Ward/Inman Park subject. The complex Highland View is top-nice and lovely practically the interstate, approximately 10 mins to SCAD. The Alexander is placed on Ponce de Leon Avenue, furthermore close and has lovely fine specials jogging. Just proper luck!

I have a friend who's older brother goes to school there and he absolutely loves it. He knows that he wants to go into art and design, though, so if you aren't sure, it might not be the best college for you. Just go to the school's website and look around. If you're still interested, try e-mailing them and asking them to send you more information.
