I see questions on here so many times that are clearly an essay type question from homework or tests. Do you actually get answers that you would get anything better then an F for?

I'm a junior in highschool, and will be taking the SAT for the 1st time somewhere soon before my senior year. I have been preparing a bit for the SAT, by taking the PSAT and occasionally using a Kaplan SAT computer program. However it would be great if I could be given more ideas to help me out... maybe things more practical, like easy on-the-go things which could be done daily.

I find it really hard to punish this kid because all he's doing is raising his hand to ask questions. But its question after question after question and it gets in the way of my teaching. For example I'll being going over instructions to an assignment and he'll start asking all these questions about it when I haven't gotten a chance to explain it yet! But I can't really punish him. What do I do?

My school teacher always call us read and read and memorise..but I don think this is a good way to make positive thinking student, exam oriented education is important, but all it does is growing knowledge and abilities but not positive thinking!!(how about you, name some reason about it)

Soo...I have a huge exam tomorrow in about 9 hours. I can't seem to get my head right. I feel like its pointless. The strange thing is I'm a good student I love makeing good grades, but my excitement for learning or wanting excell in this class is gone. I'd be happy with a B, tho I KNOW I can get an A. I don't know what psychological issues I'm going through....
but I'd like someone to give some words of encouragement, or maybe even 'hype' me up for this exam so that I TRY for an A,

Please anything to get my head out of this rut. I feel like a writer whose lost his muse.

I've already decided that 'George' if often associated with power and leadership; he looks over Lenny. Also, 'Lenny' is the diminiutive of Leonard; he has a nickname because he is childlike.

What about Slim? Curley? Candy? Crooks? Carlson? What special meanings are behind their names? Is there a particular reason why so many characters' names begin with a C?

A wooden fence is 6 ft. high and 220 ft. long and needs to be painted on both sides.
a.) What is the total area to be painted?
b.) A gallon of a certain type of paint will cover only 200 sq. ft. of area for the first coat, but on the second coat a gallon of the same paint will cover 300 sq. ft. If the fence is to be given two coats of paint, how many gallons of paint should be bought?

For "A," I got 1640 sq. ft. Is this correct? And how do I figure out part "B"? Thanks so much for your help; it's greatly appreciated.

I don't because a person can get excellent grades all throughout their high school year but because they didn't pass ALL 5 test, they can't graduate from high school. I mean, what's the point?
