Do you find the Ohio Graduation Test necessary?

Question

I don't because a person can get excellent grades all throughout their high school year but because they didn't pass ALL 5 test, they can't graduate from high school. I mean, what's the point?

What do you guys think?

good grades don't necessarily mean that you KNOW anything. the graduation tests aren't typically at a 12th grade educational level anyway. If you can't pass them, that means that you didn't learn what you were supposed to in high school and all the good grades in the world won't fix that.
