I went back to school for history, High school history about the history of Canada.

I need a simple explanation of what " SEIGNEURY" means.

Ive been looking for the meaning of this word everywhere in the book.

well, I have a friend who has been studying at NUS, the best university in my place. She knows the concept and principle, but at the time of her assignment, she always failed what she supposed to answers. And the end, She failed and failed.!!! I ask her for reason of failure. She said she doesn't know how to apply but she know the concepts.
She told me that she want to quit. I felt she is going to give up. She just enter the school for 6 months, she still long journey to travel but she want to quit. As her best friends, I don't how to argue her become more confident in studying. I have used a lot of method to teach and tell her based on the experienced that I got. But .....It won't help. This is the terrible condition that i have seen since her studied. In high school and elementary school, she is the top 3 student, but now she is the top 3 failure in that course. Is there a way for me to get financial aid help without having a credit history or a co-signer? It may sound weird but nobody can sign for me because they make too much money, and I can't get one independently because I just turned 18 so I haven't established a credit history.

I have selected some careers that basically are different from one another.
I chose :
1.Interior designer- (( my dream career. but im still kind of iffy))
2.Film Editor- ((currently taking a media class))
3.Psychiatrist or Psychologist- ((love to help children))
4.Lawyer- ((NOT criminal lawyer.))

I am a very fast learner, wanting to help people, incredibly creative, love to write, draw, paint and create.
Also I was wondering if whatever I chose as a career (from the above) would be a challenge if paired with a writting career???

ALSO i consider family time very important-- so what would be the best for that??

Find chinese characters hard to remember, could barely understand an article written in the newspapers. Can someone help me to improve? Are there any books available that list the more commonly used words in Chinese language. Wish to remember about 500~1000 of them for a start. Reading the dictionary can be quite boring at times and frankly, most explaination in those chinese dictionaries are more difficult than the actual character you've looking up for.

what's a single world that means a "magic place"? when i say magic, i mean like...enchanted, or wondrous.

i know that sounds really weird, but it would be SO helpful.

Having 2 children being diagnosed with Apraxia of Speech, I know a bit about it. It is not the (speech people), speech therapists who diagnose these children but they can give you direction as to who to go to. I was given literature on the subject and I was reading my children! I was directed to a childrens physiologists and was given the diagnoses right away. My children are also hearing impaired with an undiagnosed disorder. At times it's a struggle, a lot of reputition and speech therapy is needed. I look forward to reading your answers.

Okay let me tell you some things about me..
-Junior in high school
-3.7 unweighted GPA [4.0 Weighted]
-Took 3 AP classes
-Varsity Golf for 3 years
-Clubs [French honor society, national honor society, leader of diversity awareness, wolf pups, future business leaders of america]
-didn't take the ACT yet, but on the PLAN test (pre ACT test) I got a 26
-PSAT score: 1895 (haven't taken the SAT yet)

Okay well I'm thinking of applying early decision/early action to either Cornell, Columbia, or NYU. Do I have a chance ? I know it's really hard to get accepted and I need to raise my ACT/SAT score and everything. Based on what I have so far though what do you think? Realistically... Oh and should I apply early decision/early action?
