The Prepaid insurance account shows the following entries on June 30:

Beginning Balance -
January 1 - $2,900
May 1 - $3,366

I do get the concept there are just too many dates and numbers . . I get confused !

Then it says -

The beginning balance represents the unexpired portion of a one-year policy purchased the previous year. THe january 1 entry represents a new one-year policy, and the May 1 entry represents the additional coverage of a three-year policy.

" to thine own self be true "

someone i asked this question to said their meaning of the quote is =

don't let someone else abuse you. Never forget that you are a human being and that you have natural rights that you are born with, and no one should be allowed to take that away. Also, you need never let some one take away your self pride, self confidence, and most importantly, self respect.

would you agree ? or do you have a different view of it ?

English has always been easy for me, I have taught it to others in ESL type of class and am wondering if people who need to improve their English speaking or writing would like to learn from a website?

I would like to do it as some kind of personal learning class
that people could register for and I could teach them individually ....what do you think?

Especially would like to hear from anyone who needs this kind of help. Thanks!

i don't want a lecture, so don't waste your breath.
this year i've been forced to come to terms with my "demons" and its making high school pretty impossible for me. i'm in 2 AP (read: college level) science classes and an AP english course, plus history, band and gym. i already dropped math, thinking that because that takes so much effort for me to begin with, getting rid of it would make it easier, but it really didn't. i'm riding on class participation for my (pretty lousy) grades because homework rarely gets done, not due to laziness, but complete incapability. i can't do this anymore, and quite frankly, i think getting a good score on a GED would look better than crappy grades in a high school diploma.
all i want is advice. is a GED really so bad? i don't have aspirations of becoming a nuclear physicist or anything, and money doesn't matter to me since i was poor most of my life and i can deal with (extremely) tight budgets.
thanks, in advance.
