Depends upon what country you are form will determine whether or not the word is spelt correctly. Canada and the US spell the word differently. Color or Colour. Same word but different spelling. Stupid but true.

no it is not also spelled color the aspect of any object that may be described in terms of hue, lightness, and saturation. In physics, colour is associated specifically with electromagnetic radiation of a certain range of wavelengths visible to the human eye. I have seen it spelt that way,and also
spelt "color'',i've always spelt it
color.

I agree with "justbeingher." The word you have misspelled is "spelt." If you are speaking of the past-tense of spell, it would be spelled.
