I see questions on here so many times that are clearly an essay type question from homework or tests. Do you actually get answers that you would get anything better then an F for?

Well the people dont learn much if they are just writing down answers... now if they are coming for help then they retain it and that shows in their life. BUT not retaining it just screws them over.
Really I would say it depends.. oh...OH wait I took the question wrong...
Yes you do get good answers worth showing the teacher..

For many of the language ones I see people using free translators which almost always give the completely wrong answer. I always make sure that I know that I am giving the correct answer and show the person how to do the problem (unless of course this is a question asking for a quote, word, or an opinion) and if they ask for help on more than one problem but they are similar I will only show how to do one of the problems so that they can figure out the other one on their own. Of course, that does not work too well as other people give the answer to those and without explaining them.

I have looked through a lot of those questions and answers. In some cases, the students are given the entire answer. In other cases they are given a direct link to the answer.
There are a lot of people out there who want to help kids to succeed in school, so that they can go on to become productive citizens.

I would just get ideas from the answers and write my own

I wouldn't copy the answer, but some people do have good referances and/or oppinions
