Exam -oriented education really only teaches students to learn what they have to in order to pass the next test. This is NOT positive, and the kids don't remember what they learned for long.

Many times exam-orientated education can be unfair. Some people simply freak out, or become extremely nervous when put under the pressure of needing to pass the "big" test.

Reading and memorizing, however, is what makes one learn. Repitition is actually the only way to get things to stay in one's mind--particularly when learning the basics.

Positive thinking is more about individuals than about the things they need to learn to succeed in life.
