I have a few questions about AR ratings on children's books.

I've been looking for a list on line- but i am finding differing ratings on different lists. (One, for an example, rated "The Eygpt Game" in the mid 4s, another in the mid 5s.) Is there one list that is BETTER (or more correct) than the rest? What do these initials stand for (at the top of a AR list)?

i want to join vit, vellore for b.tech,is their is any reason not to join vit. the infrastructure there are excellent,the campus the hostel all are best.

I thought death is singular and it was therefore supposed to carry the singular verb does and not the plural one do. Are there any more other exception to the verbal law.

Please don't answer if you don't actually know....If I do a functional major for an English B.S. in Ed. degree, then would it hinder getting a job at any high schools? I mean, since there is not an extra thing to put on the resume. Also, please don't answer by saying just to do a minor. I just want to know how a functional will affect getting a job.
