No cameras should be allowed in restrooms or gym locker rooms. Everywhere else should be permitted. Besides, if you're not doing anything wrong, what's the problem? The cameras would be for your personal safety and protection.

I never cared, I mean, I was never really a trouble maker so the way i felt was, how are they infringing on my rights...there not hurting me and their not using them to say i've done anything so where's the harm. I think anyone that says we dhouldn't have them is just saying that they don't want supervision so they can do things to break the rules. With all the school shootings, fights, and vandalism in schools today, i think all schools should have them. It's not like the school is invading privacy....It's the hallway, how exactly is that private?

Yes, there is too much going on that needs to be monitored. Why do you think just because your in the hallway that you have to do the freedom to do as you please? Someone is responsible for your actions and they have a right to know what your doing. If your not doing anything Wong then don't worry, it's for your protection. It's not like someone has a camera focused only on you.

When I was in school I hated it! (Exactly where was I supposed to make out with my bf in the hallway?? lol) But blame all the morons who decided to it would be funny to do things they shouldn't in the hallway, or the psychos who make it so that kids and teens aren't safe anywhere they go.
Its for the best, so just go along with it...the pros outweigh the cons.

I don't think that's fair, but I think it depends on the school itself.
If the school is well known for being Party Central, then yes, video cams in decent places- not the toilets. (have smoke alarms there).
In my school, we're not even allowed to use our cells during school hours and even after school, only in the Caf. So yeah, when we break rules, it's just lame stuff like using our phones under our desks/ using our phones after all prefects have left. In this case, I would hate for there to be cams. We're mature folks who don't need watching over, and the extent of our "crimes" are laughable.

No way you know what there is something called privacy. Now, suppose you are not alright (mentally) and want to talk to your best friend so that she can advice you then what will happen if there is any camera. Secondly there wont be any freedom left it people watch your every move and its humiliating also. I feel NOOOOOOOOOOOOO.NEVERR
