i am a junior, and my GPA is 3.96 sofmore-junior year. my SAT score is 1840, and i am taking hard classes. I am a sophmore in high school and My spanish teacher is the greatist! she knows all my interests and stuff. She told me she thinks I should study abroad. At first I was excited but then the place called and now I am actually going to do it. But I have a few problems: 1-I want to go somewhere in South America. Prefurably Colombia but they wont let me do that so now I don't know where I want to go.
2-I am scared to death, of going to another country and staying with a strange family and my mom not being there and different language and....help plz...

I have two different text books for one class and they are both anthologies with the works of many different authors. I am writing a paper about Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics... half of which is in one book and the other half is in the other book... so I have to cite them both. But, when you cite a work from an anthology your in-text citation is the name of the author of the work... not the editor of the anthology. So... for either book it will just be (Aristotle + page number). It doesn't seem right that the citation will be exactly the same for either book. How will they know what book it came from? Does it matter?

Hi, i am from Honduras in Central America, what do i have to do to study medicine in The United States of America, i mean things like TOEFL, SAT,... could somebody talk me about the U.S. education program before the University?, for example here are 2 years of Kindergarden, then 6 Years of School (From 7 to 12 years Aprox.) then there are 5 years of Medium School (From 13 to 17 Aprox.) , and then you go to the University, and you study a Bachelor in Medicine or Architecture, Whatever you want, then there are Postgraduates, but i have understand tha in the U.S. it is diferent, please explain me this, please do not forgive things like difference between "Highschool and Preparatory" and what would be the best form to go study there for me, Already i am graduated of "High School", and it is really my dream to study medicine there in The United States of America. I have a serious problem on my GPA. I'm a junior in high school and right now my GPA is 2.6. I want to attend an UC school and I know its a long shot. I been studying the SAT for a long time and taking the test on May hoping reaching higher than 1800. I didn't do much extra activity for school but I'm in a track team. Is there still a chance or a maybe a little can i go to UC?

Eliza is portrayed by Shaw as an innocent dreamer. She is determined in a kind way; the reader sees this when she tries eagerly to sell to the gentleman without change. It becomes apparent that she is very poor, and needs success from her flower selling to live a life at all. Eliza shows great pride in her line of work, and that she stays above the law, not resorting to illegal prostitution or stealing. The introduction of Higgins taking down Eliza's speech gives the author a further chance to display Eliza's motivation to stay innocent and good. Another way that Shaw shows us the real Eliza is in the way that she starts crawling over the dirty ground to locate the “money thrown down at her by Higgins.” (page 12) The way that Eliza is so very grateful indicates her real kindness and simple mission to live any sort of life. She now realizes that she can ask Mr. Higgins to help her fulfill her dream and become a lady in a flower shop.
