its a highschool daploma its a geneal education you go to your local college to get one

For people who never finished high school, it's the equivalent of a high school diploma. Usually you can take evening courses and then a test, and get the general equivalency degree of a high school diploma.

From there you can enter college, or at least claim a high-school degree or equivalent.
