I have to write a speech in school and i dotn want it to be one of the typical topics liek alcohol, drugs, sports, famous people. I want it to be original and something that has a chance of going to competitions. For example, last eyar I did mine on laughter and it made it to the provincial speech competition.

I looked in the dictionary to look up the word, "am" I found that it refered to the word, "be." If a sentence requires a subject and a verb, then can one simply state, "I be"?

Everyday Chemical Equations-- Which ones are common?

For my honors chemistry class, I have to make a comic book featuring 10 balanced chemical equations that go along with the plot. What are some commonly-known reactions that most people have heard of (ex: NaHCO3 + HCl yields NaCl + H2O + CO2, or common table salt)? All relavant answers are appreciated (unfortunantly, a plot is still in the works, with no improvement since yesterday).
