a scalp and there are follicles in it and hey since I cant email you the 40 volume peroxide is the only thing that will remove the black off the hair ,mixed with shampoo and a scoop of bleach and warm water.Nothing bad happens if you use it on hair that is in good shape .The hair is fine afterwards you dont leave it on for ever and when ther cuticle is open you condition.
