See tomorrow is my TAKS writing test. I didnt go to school today, so I dont know how ot prepare. Does anyone know any websites that will help me know how to Pass. I mean like knowing what to write and stuff. Or any help from you guys that would be great. I really need this so I can pass 7th grade. please help!!!!!!

Here's a quick overview of things you need to remember to do well on the writing TAKS.
For short answers, remember to:
Answer the prompt.
Cite where you found the answer (direct quotes are best)
Explain why the citation supports your answer.
Give supported insight.
For the comparison short answer, remember to support your answer with evidence from BOTH passages!
For your essay, ANSWER the questions, use a personal example, add plenty of voice, vary sentence structure, and remember to have a solid thesis and conclusion. You have two pages to write on (no more)-- uses at least one of the pages.

Just this... Don't prepare! Stress is the one bad thing that will keep you from doing well. When you write, even though it might be hard to think, think outside of the box when you write. The graders will like that. I got a 3 on my 7th grade test. But try to think of things for your analysis that will tie into your writing, but will make sense. I should have stayed longer and thought it over more, I may have gotten a 4. Just remember, even thought is sounds silly, take your time. Good luck!!!

Go to "google.com" then search the web on "taks test" then it will take you to that page and there will be many choices you can choose from. Then you can choose one that you think would be good to help you!!!!!!
