Women and men are "equal," and women are expected to do just as well as men.
But women have a harder time because they are judged as women, and are judged on whether they keep their "femininity" while in the workplace.
Think about Katie Couric--if she was a man, there wouldn't be nearly as much of a fuss over her new job. And besides being judged as a person doing the show, she is judged as a woman--when she wears skirts, are they too short? Should she really be wearing skirts to work? Isn't that showing too much skin?
And she's judged as a mom too--shouldn't she be at home with her kids? Who's with the kids??

Men aren't fussed over for not looking good--or for looking too good, for being too frivolous. They aren't supposed to think about their children.

wow....how about you write the paper yourself. Look, if you want to know what to put in it, here:

Start by saying women can't work harder than men, because it goes against all civil rights movements that state they are "equal." Therefor it is equal work from both parties. If someone is making you write a paper titled that, then you give them the answer I just pointed out. For over 50 years women were fighting for their rights to be equal...and now they are. So give them the equality they deserve.

You could also point out that out of all the women in the Fortune 500, 4 out of the 8 got their money from Sam Walton, since they are in the Walton family. So point out that the Fortuen 500 disproves that women work harder than men. Now, they may WORK harder...but they don't match up in monitary means.

And due to common labor force, requiring men to do a lot of the things like construction, military solder duty, etc....they are still not a lot of jobs out there for women to be "equal" at. Now yes, they make great teachers, babysitters, cooks, lawyers, etc...there still isnt true equality to give a correct answer to you essay's topic.
