I currently go to a small 2 year college and I want to transfer to UGA (The University of Georgia). My GPA is 2.42 and I currently have 47 hours. I am taking 3 classes this semester and I am expecting to get atleast a B in them. What are some of the best ways I can increase my chances of getting into UGA. It says I need 3 letters of recommendation, should I send in more or only 3? Also should I apply for the summer or for fall, which will be the easiest, I am willing to take summer school. Thanks in advance. Any info will help.

The surface area of a cone is 24πcm^2 (twenty four pi centimeters squared) and the lateral area is 15πcm^2 (fifteen pi centimeters squared). What is the slant height and the height of this cone?

The formula for finding the lateral area of a cone is π * radius * slant and the formula for finding the surface area is lateral area * area of the base.

I have the answer, but I have no clue how to do it: I got 15/9 as the slant, which is wrong. Help, please!

The topic I signed up for in my college anthropology class involved observing bonobos (chimps) at a zoo. They happen to be on the endangered species list and the closest zoo that has bonobos is in San Diego and thats over 5 hours away from where I live. My parents aren't willing to take a weekend trip to San Diego (I've never driven there, I've had my drivers license for less than a year) just to observe a bunch of apes for 3 hours. The other two choices for topics were really really hard (one was answering the question, What are the prospects, possibilities, & possible/probable limitations of the future evolution of human beings?). Do you think he will let me choose another primate family (group of apes) to observe? Or will he have me write a paper on the other more difficult topics?

I'm taking this exam for level 6 piano at Cal Poly in two weeks. It's going to be my first time and I've been preparing since September. Does anyone know if it's going to be hard or how harshly the evaluators grade? I have this problem with my fingers sometimes like they just feel heavy and lazy and it's difficult for me to carry scales on sixteenth notes. How do I take care of that? And is there a way for me to remember pieces better cuz my brain just goes blank and my fingers usually do all the work by themselves. I'm afraid that I will just forget in the middle of the song from nervousness just like I did at my piano recital.
