It depends entirely on how the school district you are in calculates credits. Fore example, in mine you needed 24. Each semester that you completed in a course was .5 a credit.

At my high school we need 25 credits all together, 17 of which have to be core credits such as math, English, etc. We need 3 math credits, 3 science credits, 1.5 phy ed, 0.5 health, 4 English, 3.5 Social Studies, and 9.5 electives...which sort of adds up to more than 25......
Most schools are different. Some school are split into trimesters, others are slpit into semesters, some have different required classes and other things that determine what you need to do to graduate......so the amount of credits you need could be entirely different from what I need. Ask one of your teachers or someone at the office. .

Depends on what school you go to and what state. Each state differs in curriculum.
Mine was this but that was back in 1981.
