I need help with my homework! My homework is to write a short summary on one of the American Presidents! I want to pick between George Washington or John F. Kennedy!

I want to change your mind. Nixon (aside from water gate) is the best president to date. Nixon graduated 2nd in his class at a local college with a passion for shakespear. then, he recieved a full scholarship to Duke, which he otherwise couldn't have afforded.
Listen to this beautiful quote nixon said as he left office.
"Remember, always give your best. Never get discouraged. Never be petty. Always remember, others may hate you. But those who hate you don't win unless you hate them. And then you destroy yourself."
this is one of several quotes from nixon that are so terrific. Plus, a report on nixon reminding your professor how marvelous Nixon was will win you an A no matter what.

George Washington would be the easier of the two to write a short summary of. Kennedy's presidency is too complicated, while Washington, the first president, had a rather straight forward. Plus, in his oft-cited "Farewell Speech," at the end of his term, he stated some important goals for America, one of which was to defend other countries that could not defend themselves, and that were in need of help. You could tie this into a reason to support the war in Iraq.

There is so much information on these two men.
Try doing the research yourself- you can do Internet searches using the names of the men.
Give it a try. It's your homework assignment, right? Why not do it yourself? That's what George and Jack would want you to do.

Back in my day we had it tough. We'd actually have to go to the library and open up an encyclopedia and other books to locate information on a past President. Now, you can google and find dozens of papers on any subject. And, the kids today just go to Y/A and ask someone else to do it for them......
