I'm in a spelling bee tommorrow if school isn't called off(which it probably will be), and I think I'll get nervous. I've been in spelling bees before and won my school one, but now I'm in middle school and there are people 14 years old. I am a non-denominational Christian in California. I attend a bible chapel, and many of the other mom’s there home school, so I have abundant resources as well as support at my church, but many of the moms use very different curriculums. I was wondering if any of you Christian home schooling moms/dads could recommend a Christian curriculum, and why you like it. I am aware that I should be aware of my child’s learning preference, and all that, but I really just want to know some good curriculums to check out, or any literature or websites about writing your own curriculum & lesson plans! We recently moved to a new city and had to leave our support group who we have been with for five years. I have tried without any luck to find a group close to us that offers group testing but have not found any. The super. of our new school district suggested finding a cert. teacher to administer the tests for me. How do I go about finding one and does any one know if it is legal to administer the test myself in Ohio?

I have not taken any Ap courses as of yet because my school only offers them in Bio, Calculus, Us History, Art, and Spanish. I am scheduling my course for next year as a junior. Would I have a better chance of getting into those colleges if I take those class instead of two honors classes (Anatomy and Justice-probably take 1 or 2 of them in senior year) I aslo will be taking Cal Ap and English AP in my senior year?
