Education & Reference - 24 January 2007

OK, I am in high school, and looking for college. I am interested in the Computer Science Field. I figured MIT was one of the best choices. So does anybody know anything about it/currently take classes there. -OR- Does anyone have any other suggestions for a good technical college. If you have a suggestion, please make sure that it is an urban college.

I believe it is in California but I could be wrong. It was a popular resort until a number of years ago when something funky happened to the water and killed all plants/animals/lake creatures. Abandoned hotels, trailers, etc. remain there.

I live in AZ right now but am thinking of moving to CA in a few months. I just wanted to know if my record would affect me getting into nursing school since it is my dream. Okay, I'm so sick of school, it's too much of a pain.
I truly am unhappy going to school and being critized by a bunch of nasty brats.I hate having to get up in the morning for 6 hours of boring crap.

I hate having to get ready and putting on make-up, don't say I don't have to do that, cause I know I don't have to, but if I don't then I feel very self conscious, I wish I didn't, but I do.
I want to go the University of Texas because that's were my family and I are moving after I finish highschool.

Right now I really don't care about partying or hanging out a lot with friends because I can do that after high school.
But I really want to get homeschooled until senior year and so I was wondering if anyone had good resources.
My mom has enough to get me a teacher but that's a lot and I tend to be pretty conservative.

Also, I've heard of place where you pick up your homework and then do it at home or something like that so please, help me out.

I work at a daycare centre and in my preschool room I have children from age 2-6. Once a week, I'm in charge of planning a craft but I'm totally blank for what to do for tomorrow. I need some easy craft ideas that do not require a lot of supplies (just using common items) and that my littler ones can easily do too. Any suggestions?

Why do so many people who have no credentials (people who have not been homeschooled and do not homeschool their children) seem to think that homeschooled children are socially retarded??? I was homeschooled for the last two years of high school. I have always been very shy, but I became more social after I was homeschooled. If you don't know what you're talking about why are you commenting? And any who have had good experiences with homeschooling are welcome to comment to further my point. TY in advanced.
