In everyday use, they mean pretty much the same thing...potential (possible) sexual attraction to (and willingness to sexually try) pretty much everything.

People get cute and use it as a "hipper" sounding version of bi-sexual (since these people aren't considering the local sheepyard, as *anything* would truly suggest) or as a way of indicating someone is a freak.

Techically, "omni" includes everything and "pan" is across everything. So they're mostly made up buzzwords used incorrectly but to connote a certain exceptional (if not excessive) sexual adventurism and willingness.

The "best answer" is wrong.

Pansexual does not mean you are willingly going to try anything. Pansexual means that you love some one regardless of gender and sex. So basically if I fell in love with someone and I found out that they had a crocodile for a penis I would still love them. (Kind of a weird way of putting it hahah)

Omnisexual is like being Pansexual, although they actually don't see gender at all.

Pansexual= I love you even if you were transgender, cisgender, half of one gender and half of the other, had no gender, ect

Omnisexual= I don't see any gender, I just see you as a human being

Honestly, this has been around for a really long time now. It's only recently that someone finally came up with a name for it!
