The City Of London is one square mile .In old times the Queen was not permitted in the city. Once a year she would go to the city gate and knock on it and ask the Mayor permission to enter the city. Very few people live in the city. The City of London has more international banks than any other city.

Farmers breaking ground on the tallgrass prairies of Illinois used to keep an axe strapped to the plow. Some of the native prairie plants had such big, thick roots that the farmer had to stop, untie the axe, and hack through the root so his plowhorse (or ox or whatever) could continue pulling the plow.

When a normal person commited crime, police arrested him/her becuz of matching evidence of fingerprints from where the scene occured. It is supposedly correct.

When not normal (disabled) person such as, Amputated hands or fingers, who commited crime but NEVER admit. Becuz they wanted investigators think they (disabled people) were impossible or cannot do anything. But, there is a finding idea to get them is DNA use swab by tips in her/his mouth to match the evidence. THT IS SO NEW TO ME!

Also, when a person's hands are crooked, they do have some special tool for crooked hands ppl to hold gently for fingerprints (with black ink) to press on the fingerprinting record paper.

VERY INTERESTING TO LEARN !!

The common phrase 'Beam me up, Scotty' was NEVER actually said by Captain Kirk (or any other character) in any original Star Trek episode or movie.

(It came from the Star Trek Animated Series, which aired in 1973-1974, was realeased on VHS in the 80s and wasn't released on DVD until 2006.)

The hot tub was invented by a man who made motors for boats. He had a son who became paralyzed, and desperately wanted him to walk again. As an attempt at therapy, he attached a boat motor to a large tub, and had the boy sit in the rushing water.

His name was Jacuzzi.

Men with blue eyes are more likely to be with women who have blue eyes.
The reason is that if a man w/ blue eyes and a woman w/ blue eyes have a baby, the baby can only have blue eyes.
In a man's subconscious, he knows that if he's with a woman w/ blue eyes and they have a baby, he will know whether or not she cheated. (Unless, of course, she cheats w/ another man w/ blue eyes!)
I read this a couple days ago & thought it was interesting because my husband and I both have blue eyes!

Good Question!

One more for the road: Mohammed is said to have been so mindful of other creatures, that when a kitten fell asleep on the sleeve of his robe, he cut it off rather than disturb the snoozin' lil puss.
