2.
I went to grade/year school in England and we had to wear them. It was nice and affordable, and no one could make fun of other people cuz they werent wearing "name" brand clothing.
For people who dont like the school uniform, be thankful that you are who you are and you can afford to express yourself and pay for things you want like that. Lots of people arent as lucky.
Tho in books like harry potter, before harry got taken away for Hogwarts, Mrs. Dursley was dieing old dudley clothes for Harrys uniform. So if he had went to taht school it would of been noticeable.
Sure kids dont like it, but they will get over it.

Having had to have worn uniforms for a few years in elementary school, I can honestly say they aren't that bad. As far as style, some of them are okay, others lack in the style category. I don't know how any one could say they negatively affect students, but they don't always have a positive effect either. Often they are neutral, doing nothing more than providing simplicity for the students as far as their wardrobe is concerned, creating a form of fashion equality among the students, and enforcing a modest dress policy.

2) I think that school uniforms are fine.
School uniforms generally provide an equal and fair basis for every child in the school community. I think that school uniforms create an understanding between children.

#4) They are not good for students! Young people need to express themselves through fashion. When I was a Freshman in high school, in 1970, we abolished the dress code. We looked really weird then, but we're 50 now, and we all have good jobs, families, etc. Let young people be.
