i have an essay to do on the allegory
i have to pick 3 important eventss (support paragraphs) that prove animal farm is an allegory
theres lots of little details that prove its related to the russian revolution but i cant think of a specific major one..
if anyone has ideas thatd be nice

i guess my first support paragraph would be the rebellion itself so..
the speech by old major[marx,lenin] encouraged the animals [russain people] to start a rebellion to overthrow jones [russian revolution]

i just started student teaching a 10th grade world history class and i need some help teaching this lesson. during this chapter i have 4 sections to go over and i was going to do one per day. i can't figure out the best way to teach it to the students without lecturing the whole time. each class is 50 minutes long.

topic 1: the growth of european towns
-the rights of townspeople
-guilds
-medieval towns
-the black death (last week they watch a 45 minute video on the black death)

the teacher that i am student teaches for ONLY lectures to the students and they do not respond well with it. is there any kind of activity or guided way to teach it to them??

I recently went back to be a full time student for nursing. I have my own apartment and no husband or kids. I had to cut my job to only three hours a day to accomodate such a tough school schedule. I am finding that everyone wants to pay tuition but noone wants to help to help with things that tuition doesn't cover like rent, lights, gas, car payment. I am not getting the tax money I thought I was to tie me over, so I am really in a bad positon. Going home is not an option and I havent had any luck finding a roommate. I really dont want to pick up a another part time job because school takes up ALOT of time and I dont want my grades to drop. Does anyone know of any programs to help me out? Or who to contact to find is their is any assistance available? Since I dont have kids there not much the state can do. Also my school wont let me expand my loan anymore to cover the rent.

I just wanted to know how different people prounounced/ spelled different words. I spell it color.
And...

*Do you call a sweetened, carbonated beverage, Soda, pop, or coke? I call it pop

*Does "caramel" have one or two syllables? (Like "care-a-mel" or "carmel"?) It's one syllable for me.

*"Route rhymes with "boot" or "out"? It's "out" for me.

*Mary / marry / merry...
Are pronounced differently or Are pronounced the same? It's all the same to me.

I am a Junior and I have had bad grades (A,B,C,Ds) but then I turned it around junior year taking all a.p. courses (6) basket ball team, many clubs, and I have a perfect SAT Math and Critical Reading score, near perfect writes.

What does it mean to have arguments that inform? LIke visual arguments, Arguments that tell us stuff and information. Like a sign?

So arguments to convice are arguments based on the peremise of convicing someone of a certian belief or form of thought?

Arguments to Explore I have no clue. Im guessin these are arguments that take the form of exploration.

Arguments to Make Decisions Im assuming these mean arguments that involve certatin decisons to be made at any particualar level.

Arguments to Meditate or Pray? These arguments are based on transforming something in himself or herself. I think they argue for and how it uses quite meditation to accomplish this goal?

Occasion for Argument? Like arguments that need to happen at that time> Based of these isssues current or later on.

Supposedly this school was shut down in 1970 after 7 children were poisoned in the cafeteria. It's still standing, with everything still inside. One of my friend's sister went the other night and has crazy pictures. Has anyone every heard of this? Or does anyone mind research about it and posting it?
