Hi, how important is the AMOUNT of alevels you do in terms of university places? I am doing 4 but i really want to drop 1, but will some one with 4 alevels get chosen over me? And how important is Maths as thats the one i want to drop, i want to study business management in uni?

I have mid-terms coming up this wed. and i have been studying all weekend but i am do not think i am motivated enough.. i take more breaks than i need to and I really do not want to just look over the materal and not be motivated to learn it.. does this happen to anyone else? If so how do you get movated?

'gd' instead of 'good'

etc..

... I personally find it irritating but what do you think and why?

My daughter is 9 and has said since she was 3 that she wanted to be involved in animal science/veterinarian medicine. She had me looking up colleges the other day. When do I start to take her seriously and when do we start to seriously look at schools? I am assuming after grammar school! My husband is getting laid off of his job soon!

The company is offering several options for college.

They are offering to pay for a 12 week course in welding, electricity, hvac, small buisness management.

Or a 2 year degree in all courses offered at the local community college.

Which way should he go & what field should he go into besides nursing!

He say's NO NURSING for him!!!~

I am planning to practice law as a solo (wish me luck!) But plan to sustain myself by tutoring.

I have been tutoring for 7 years on SAT and almost any science/math subject you can think of and I love what I do more than anything and think im pretty good at it.

I have been charging for my private inhome 1 on 1 tutoring 35-45 an hour just after undergrad. But now with all these other degrees besides the bachelors, I want to charge more. Companies that I have worked for charge the clients much much more for my services and they get willing customers.

What do u think I am worth? How much would you pay? I understand that price is individually and locally sensitive.

The CSS/Profile for one of the schools i am applying to is today and the thing is, my parents still dont have their taxes for 2006 done or their W2s, so its such a waste to estimate things, since they dont know what to put until they get this information.
I tried calling the financial aid office of the school but they are closed for the holiday. i dont get why they set their deadlines on a holiday where no one can reach them with questions.
ive researched this school several times, and each time i come with different information regarding their financial aid. once, it said today is the priority deadline (what does it mean, priority?), and then i saw somewhere else that it was the closeout date.and then somewhere else i saw that its just the priority date but no closeout date.their website just says anyone applying for financial aid should get information in by today.
what do i do?
its not like ive been sitting around the whole time, ive been trying to fill it out, but its too much
