The first impression is that she is shy
but looks can be deceiving
poeple are more than what meets the eye
seeing is not always beleiving

They say, "Don't judge a book by its cover"
"Things aren't always what they seem"
don't judge right away, not now, not ever
That makes me wanna scream.

On the inside she's very wild
She's not as calm as you may think
She really isn't that mild
Her mood can change in a blink.

She only reveals her true self to some,
those she's known for a long time
not to who ever may come
she could care less though because she's her own partner in crime.

I'm sure this question has been asked before. But I am really curious. It's right there within easy reach, it can make you look at least a little more intelligent so why not use it?
I know about typo's and there are some words that spell check won't catch like "their" and "there", but jeez.

Currently I am an English major at a top university, and I am really interested in the prospect of working in the admissions selection process at the university level. I've already informally helped numerous people with admissions insight and I get a lot of gratification out of it. I am also a frequent contributor to an online admissions consulting resource. The admissions process is fresh in my memory and I viewed it as an exciting challenge rather than stress as many of my peers did. So, how does the job ladder in this career work, like the potential to eventually become Dean of Admissions at a highly regarded university? Should I pursue a graduate level degree or can I land a job straight after I graduate? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

So I'm thinking of applying to some graduate schools and I was wondering what the best way to contact the director of admissions or someone at the school of my choice? I was told by a professor that I should definitely do this before applying so I can get more information about the program and possibly meet 1 or 2 professors who teach there.
So my Q is, what is the correct/most common way that a prospective undergrad student is to contact and meet up with the grad school they want to apply to?
Thank you!

"Just keep running! They're gaining on us!" Trent shouted to her, then glanced over his shoulder. The two men in ski masks clambered down the fire escape and were closing the gap between them. Suddenly one raised a gun as he ran. Adrenaline surged through Trent's body. "Go! Go! Go!" he called out, and Devin heard the fear in his voice and put on the afterburners in the snow.

Specifically, I am engaged in a debate over whether 'ipsius' is referring to Solomon alone, or to Solomon, John and Jude.

Thank you!!

If you use blackboard, how long does it take from when a teacher posts the syllabus until you can view it? She said she posted it at noon today, but I still can't see it. I remember this happening last year but I don't remember how long it took before it got posted on everyones accounts.

He's a former president of the Philippines. And I can't seem to find any site regarding his projects in his time. I only found his biography, though, there were no projects stated there. Btw, this is an assignment in our History subject. Thanks. =)

I made consecutive straight A's in every subject in college except for math. Oh...oops... a C once in weight lifting:( I took honors classes. Now i'm not saying i'm some sort of a smarty pants. Community college here.I dropped out of school in the 8th grade, received my GED at age 17 and began attending college at age 25. Since childhood I've excelled at everything except for math. I even had to take a basic math class when I entered into my first year of college. Now I have taken all the classes I need for my degree plus some except for the required math classes. I have dropped out of college because I can't even make it through the third chapter in my Intermediate Algebra text book. Yes, I said "Intermediate Algebra." Sad isnt it? I have had help from the instructor and tutor with no improvement. The head of the math department even asked me if I was dyslexic! LOL! Is there anyone out there who may know what in the heck my problem is or may possibly have any suggestions? Thanks.

we are moving to a house that is kind of far from my school, but in the district. If I switch schoools, I might be able to talk to more people right when I start school, therefore have a better reputation at school ( people do not really like me cuz they think I don't talk). I won't mind taking AP calculus cuz my teacher will be different ( I hate the Ap cal teacher cuz he is racist)
