If you use blackboard, how long does it take from when a teacher posts the syllabus until you can view it? She said she posted it at noon today, but I still can't see it. I remember this happening last year but I don't remember how long it took before it got posted on everyones accounts.

Although it SHOULD show up immediately, there have been times where the server is so busy that documents haven't shown up to the students until the following night or day depending on when the doc. was posted originally.
A syllabus shouldn't be that harsh of a detail to receive a few hours or even a day late. I would however explain that especially during such a busy season that her postings may not immediately show up.

You should be able to see it immediately, there is no reason for a delay.
