Should I switch schools?

Question

we are moving to a house that is kind of far from my school, but in the district. If I switch schoools, I might be able to talk to more people right when I start school, therefore have a better reputation at school ( people do not really like me cuz they think I don't talk). I won't mind taking AP calculus cuz my teacher will be different ( I hate the Ap cal teacher cuz he is racist)

I don't know! That's why I am asking opinions.

I was worried cuz I am going to be in 11th grade...what if I don't have time to do the fun stuff in 11-12grades.

Switch schools for the new fresh start you're looking for and reinvent yourself as a more outgoing and talkative person since you say the people at your old school don't like you cuz they think you don't talk much.

Also, as a teacher who is biracial living in a completely white area (almost) and the victim of racism - if you can believe it - by my own employers, the public school board where I reside in Ontario, Canada, I can tell you that racism totally does exist in the schools as you've found out and report in your question. Moving to the other school to take the course you woant where you at least possibly won't be discriminated against because of your race like you are at the present school by the racist teacher, is a good overall choice.

Switch it up, why not? What do you have to lose? If you think you might make more friends i think you should go for it, i switched schools after the 10th grade to be with my best friend and i wouldn't have wanted to graduate any other way! So i'm glad i did it, and most kids would do anything for a fresh start during middle school/high school. Consider yourself lucky, cuz you have the option.

Sure, go for it! You can start over in a different school. You'll also meet lots of new people. It's possible to keep the same friends at your old school, so you'll have more if you switch. A new school can offer new opportunities and experiences. You could meet the love of your life, a new best friend, or a teacher who becomes your mentor. Go for it and take a risk!

Don't move because you can't get along with somebody You don't know if it will be any better at other school ,learn to get along with people it will help you in the long run

you should draw some attention to yourself then. participate in class but at the same time, try to connect with your peers--in the long run, you have the power to change how other people perceive you and if you're "quiet", well, change that impression because apparently you're not ;)
