The phrase is either "I seek not peace but rest" or "Seek not peace but rest", I cannot be 100% sure which it is. I would like to find the source of the quotation. I'm not sure if it is from a text, a movie, a religous book or document.

Before anyone says 'just effing Google it!', I have, and I've searched using all of the major and many minor search engines as well as a number of quote websites but to no avail thus far.

I'd like to find out who the quote's author is and the context in which it was first quoted. If there is anyone out there who knows please let me know, as it is now driving me to distraction.

Many thanks.

I'm 14, and in highschool. School sucks for me. It always has, and always will. I understand everything pretty much right away, so I just sit through boring lessons and exersizes. I don't do well grade-wise.
My dad was the same way, but he got the equivalent to a GED while he was in school. Do you know what this is and how you are eligible for it?

Here's a very condensed version of my high school transcript:

very competitive high school!

Cumulative GPA: 4.833 (3.98 unweighted)
Class Rank: 8 of 800
SAT scores: 760 Math, 700 Writing, 710 Reading

Extracurriculars:
Varsity Track and Varsity Cross Country - 2 time letter winner in each sport.
Over 300 hours of volunteer work in third world country
Spanish honor society, national honor society, mathematics honor society, math league,
vice president of computer club
co-founder/co-president of a successful badminton club

I have always taken the hardest classes my school offered.

My only concern is that I might be a bit lacking in my extracurriculars for a good school.

I want to get into schools such as Carnegie Mellon, Stanford, UC Berkeley, Yale, and Cornell.

I need some expert advice!!! Am i aiming too high?

Phew! thanks for getting through it....I really appreciate any help
