Have any limerick / rhyming sorta (or any other type) words of wisdom? The sort of ones your mother or grandmother used to say all the time?
Examples:
"An apple a day keeps the doctor away!" or the one that goes
"Liqour before beer, you're in the clear, beer after liquor, never been sicker!"

Share your words of wisdom.

I have a great relatonship with Dad and was raised to be a respectable man. Now he is old and sick. He was such a strong man, full of life. I am going to be so torn when he goes. I feel like I'd have been better off if I'd never had this gift from God. What am I going to do when he dies. How can I prepare??

I have been learning english for 9 years now, since I started pre-school. I am wondering how does one improves one's command of english as I am only able to construct simple sentences. Sometimes, even my sentences aren't totally correct. Currently, I'm taking effort to build up my vocabulary. Reading undeniably helps to improve one's english but it takes time.Is there any way where I can learn to write and speak english in a more complex structure because I can't be writing and speaking english in simple sentences. Moreover, I am going to take A levels soon so somehow, I need to impress the markers with good english.

My sister is 17, and she has no idea what college she wants to go to. She thinks that she wants to go into engineering, but she's not quiet sure yet. She's gonna be a seinor next year, and I think that she should know what some of her options would be since she doesn't really have any idea.

"OK it's on the coast, but why the pretentious Latin ?"
Kind of tricky huh ? I have been mulling this one over for 3 weeks now and cannot find the answer - all I know is that it is a UK mainland coastal town and the clu is cryptic.
Cheers

Can anyone recommend any books for pre law (LSAT)?
Hi, I used to love reading but fell behind because of school. I really want to go to law school and I feel like im rusty in my reading and this will weaken my score on the LSAT. Can anyone recommend any books that will improve my reading? I enjoy books that are non fictional, I hate shakespere and that wierd language. Im on vacation right now and I want to catch up in my reading. Have any one used specific books to prepare them for the lsat?
I will take any recommendations as possible, be sure to talk a little about what the book is about and its genre.
Even though I prefer non-fiction, im open minded to anything! Just need something that will make me catch up to where I am supossed to be.Thanks!
