Our teacher's are allowing students to pass their classes when they can't even spell the basic words of our language.

Have you no pride in the product you are presenting to our society?

Spelling is just a simple example. Your students don't even know the difference between lose and loose!

Math, another example. You give your students homework, it gets corrected, usually by peers in class, then there is no follow up. The only students actually learning math are the one's with parents who correct the homework and identify failures to understand, then teach the material one-on-one.

What the hell have you done to the education of our children with all your politically correct touchy-feely BS about multicultural sensitivity to the students needs?

Why won't you teach our children well?

God help us, but our academic ignorance of even the most mundane things is absurd.

It's lose, folks, it's lose! L! O! S! E! Lose! For cryin' out loud, it's not loose.

There are 2 programs I'm looking at online. one is a 15 month certificate program, (65 credits) and the other is an associate degree in science, also certifying me as a medical assistant, (66 credits) 2 year program. Should I just get the certificate to certify me to be a medical assistant or go to school for 2 years for the associate degree. Would one get me a better paying medical assistant job? or are they both the same.Confused on this one........

My son is very loving playful creative affectionate and intelligent. He can read books, count infinitely, tell you how many quarters go into a $1, $5 etc, will give you back change that doesn't equal $.25...His kindergarten teacher is concerned with his development. He doesn't concentrate on work (bored?). He doesn't pay attention in class. Needs to be reinstructed redirected. She denies that he is disruptive. He claims to need help with getting coat on at school and depends on following another child to the right bus line. he knows bus #, bus drivers name, home address & ph#. He doesn't color in lines. He engages adults in appropriate conversations and ignores peers. Poor gross motor skills, very clumsy. Runs in a skipping fashion. He is very big for his age (looks and articulates like a 6-7 year old) They wanted to have him tested. We agreed over a month ago...then nothing. Now they won't talk to us about his development/findings - schedule a meeting. Any help is kindly appreciated

Remember in elementary school when someone in the class vomited, the janitor spread some type of granules on it to soak it up? What was the name of that stuff? Why didn't they just clean it up instead of spreading this stuff on it and letting it set?

I need to prepare for the SAT subject test French exam. I know a lot of the basics of french. However, my class at school moves very slowly and I do not feel I learn anything. For the test I need to know a lot of vocabulary, and grammer. How should I study vocabulary? Do you reccomend just looking through a French dictionary, or are there any books that you reccomend?
