First, are you aware of a high demand for upper grade level Montessori teachers? (Age 6-9)

Second, does the certifying agency make that big a difference in getting a job? I've seen AMI certification and an International Organization. Will AMI schools hire you if you only have an International certification?

Any input would be helpful. I'm trying to decide if doing the certification through distance learning will be worth the investment. Thanks!

I need help. I have looked into many different aspects of the field and am really interested in becoming an orthopedic surgeon. The problem is, due to special circumstances I had to drop out of school and attain my GED. This is not because I am stupid so I have the brain capacity to enter the field. However, I must attend a community college before I can major in Pre-Med at a 4 year school. I have no idea where to start, or what classes to take at the community college. Please Help.

There are many reasons for the significantly low percentage of male nurses, mainly, the stereotypical femininity of the field; thus awareness must be raised surrounding the benefits of the profession in order to attract more interest from potential, male applicants.

ONE ARGUMENT
High school boys need to be informed that nursing is a profession, not only for women, but for all individuals that seek a rewarding career with great benefits.

PREMISES
The nursing shortage is becoming greater every year. If more nursing recruiters targeted high school boys to become nurses, the nursing shortage would be eased. Educating high school boys in regards to nursing as a career, not a gender bias profession is the key element. Nursing is a profession that is rewarding and has great benefits. When nursing recruiters go to high schools, the recruiters need to educate the boys that nursing is no longer a feminine career. The recruiters need to let the high school boys that the starting salary for male nurses is on average $2 - $4 more an hour than female nurses. Being a registered nurse not only has great salaries, but also being a RN also gives benefits such as: health insurance, retirement plans, pensions, and most of all, feeling good to help others.

CONCLUSION
The nursing shortage would be eased by recruiting more high school boys to become registered nurses.

The problem - the continuously disturbing student who constantly requires too much of the teacher's attention causing less learning for the students who do come to school to learn and do understand that there is a way out. THOSE WHO DO NOT WORK IN EDUCATION DO NOT UNDERSTAND AND CANNOT SEEM TO GRASP THE DEPTH OF THE ISSUE. We have students who teachers bend over backwards, into pretzels, make home visits and do everything with the possible resources we have, and we do have a lot, to reach these students, yet they still refuse to be taught. They refuse to learn. They refuse to accept consequences or take responsibility for their actions because the parents refuse to take responsiblity for their own...

I still have plenty of material to cover .... are all-nighters unhealthy? Should I even bother trying to do them?

I work two jobs, so I have little time to study ........

There and Their / Then and Than / Too and To. Also, some don't know the difference with "two."
It amazes me how so many people don't know the differences between such simple words.
I've seen these words misrepresented so often.

When asking a professor to write you a letter of recommendation for Graduate school, is it appropriate to give them a listing (in writing) of things you felt you learned/accomplished in their class? For example, writing a literature review, exposure to doing oral presentations, etc?
I want to give them this list with a copy of all the papers I submitted to them, and hopefully they'll incorporate the things I mentioned in this "list" in my letter.
What do you think?
