I wouldn't suggest you lie on an application. Colleges have been very selective lately when choosing their future students. One error could ruin your chances of getting in to your dream school.
Try volunteering at some events in the next few weeks; there are many holiday food drives that take little effort, and the Salvation Army does a lot around this time of year. Donating old clothes to a shelter can also give you community service.
Good luck!

Don't lie. If you get caught, you're going to get in more trouble than you want to be in.
Instead, try to being out the volunteering events that weren't really 100% organized. Have you ever taken your grandmother to the mall? Bring up things you HAVE done.
Just don't lie about things you never went to. Don't start college with THOSE lies.

Don't do it. You will lose the money and get kicked out of school when you are caught. Just volunteer--you may learn something or enjoy it.

why lie, go out and volunteer. Go to the homeless shelter and give out food or blankets tonight and you can honestly say that you volunteered helping the homeless.
