My teacher is very religous and in class she tries to relate everything to the bible and forces us to memorize certain things in the bible.

Should I tell my parents?
Isn't something like this illegal or something?
I really need help because I can't memorize this stuff at all so I am failing the class. =(

Does anyone know, anything about a Capuchin monkey? It is a homework assignment, and I need about 1- 4 more facts. Some major points are sleeping habits, and why they stay in the trees. It can be anything though, the more the better. Thanks, I am just hoping.....well I just need a good grade, thanks!

For my child's kindergarten teacher. I only want to spend about $10 - $20 on a gift because we've already donated a good chunck of change to contribute to the class gift. I figure teachers already get lots of things like coffee mugs, body lotion/bath sets, etc. Cna anyone give ideas on useful or interesting things a teacher might like as a birthday gift that aren't overly expensive?
Thanks in advance for all replies.

I was born on July 10, 1988. I'm 18. I live in San Antonio, Texas. I went to school up until the 9th grade at Harlandale High. Then I got out and enrolled in Thompson Direct, a homeshooling program. I graduated and got a HS Diploma in 2005. (The diploma is from Pennsilvania.) But my friends suggest I go to school to experience high school, and I really want to. So I'm going to try to go to Mccollum High, where my friends go next year when I'm 19 just for my senior year. Its the same district as Harlandale. Could I do it? Is there a law in Texas against it? Could they even know that I have another diploma?

(P.S. Under rare circumstances there ARE people that have 2 diplomas from the same state.)

I'm having trouble solving this.. it's about scientific notation and exponents:

Wavelengths of light are measured in Angstrom units. AN Angrstrom unit is 10^ -8cm. The wavelength of Cadmium's green line is 5085.8 Angrstrom units. How many wavelengths of Cadmium's green line are there in one meter?

Also, Metal expands and contracts with changes in temperature. THe change in the length of steel per degree Celsius is given by the constant 11 x 10^ - 6. A steel bridge 200 meters long varies in temperature 70 degrees Clesius. What is the change in the length of the bridge in centimeters? Thanks! please tell me the steps to solving it too!

1st clue: A quiet before the storm (L_L_)

2nd clue: Garden tool used for digging (S_ad_)

The best answer chosen will be the first to give BOTH CORRECT ANSWERS!!! If you only know one, however, that's fine, also... if nobody knows them both, the first two who give the correct separate responses will be enterered into a "random drawing".
