Fashion merchandise is not the same as fashion design. Most of the classes in fashion merchandise concentrate on the business side of fashion - rather than the creative side. A major in fashion merchandise opens doors for careers as a retail buyer, wholesale buyer, store manager, retail marketing manager, market researcher, distributor, etc.

nicely, with style promoting you've gotten to finish a touch retail adventure as area of making a resume (to boot as different jobs/internships), yet there remains a destiny with it. With a level in style promoting, you may study the thanks to regulate your human being boutique, layout shoes, layout clothing, or artwork with journey making plans, promotion and marketing, sales, promotions... so that is not purely being stuck in a retail save.
